Lemon Law Now Obtains a Repurchase from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles for a 2015 Chrysler 200s Lemon with Transmission Issues

This California lemon law client purchased his brand new 2015 Chrysler 200s.  He chose this car for its smooth ride and clean lines.  This was the case for the first 3 years that he drove his Chrysler 200s.  However, once this vehicle hit approximately 30,000 miles it came clear that there was no longer anything smooth about this ride.  The vehicle began to jerk when shifting, the RPM’s accelerated, and the transmission would slam into gear.  After multiple repairs this lemon law client believed his Chrysler 200s was a lemon.  However, he had talked to friends who told him that the lemon law only applied to cars with less than 18,000 miles.  Given that this Chrysler 200s lemon was still under warranty, that did not sit right wit him.  That led him to the lemon law experts at Shainfeld Law, who founded Lemon Law Now in 2017. This 2015 Chrysler 200 Lemon Law client filled out an online inquiry at Lemon Law Now, and was contacted by a lemon law attorney the same day.  After reviewing the case his lemon law lawyer informed him that not only did he have a case, but further believed that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) would buyback his Chrysler 200s lemon pursuant to the Song Beverly Warranty Act, California’s lemon law.  This lemon law client was thrilled when he received a call from his lemon law attorney informing him that FCA had agreed to buyback his lemon Chrysler 200s, which meant they were taking back the vehicle, paying off the balance of the loan associated with his lemon vehicle, and reimbursing him for his down payment and monthly payments to date.  Additionally, FCA agreed to pay all his lemon law lawyers fees and costs. The lesson to be learned from this 2015 Chrysler 200 Lemon Law claim is two-part.  Number 1- do not take legal advice from friends who are not lawyers.  Number 2- the lemon law applies to vehicles that have repairs while under warranty, it does not matter if your vehicle currently has 1,800 miles, 18,000 miles or even 40,000 miles.  Contact a 2015 Chrysler 200 Lemon Law expert who specializes in lemon law to see whether or not you have a claim.  Had this 2015 Chrysler 200 Lemon Law client not contacted LemonLawNOw he would still be driving around in an unsafe vehicle.
