Mr. Shainfeld was born in South Africa and immigrated with his family to California. From the time he was a young boy, he has believed in standing up for those in need and helping fight for their rights. Brett Shainfeld’s Education
Mr. Shainfeld began his professional education at the University of California, Davis in 1996. While at UC Davis, he was a four-year member and captain of the NCAA Division 1 wrestling team, as well as a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. In 2000, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Communications and International Relations, and was nominated an “Outstanding Senior for the Class of 2000.”
Professional Career
Following his graduation from UC Davis, he spent the next three years involved in sales/management and business development both for small businesses as well as one of the largest wineries in the world. During this time, Mr. Shainfeld sharpened his real-world business skills, which he continues to implement today when providing lemon law clients with creative, innovative, and unique solutions to their problems.
Mr. Shainfeld graduated with a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2006. While at Loyola he gained the legal knowledge to augment his business experience. In addition to obtaining his degree from Loyola Law School, he became a California Certified Mediator, which provided him with the skills, training, and knowledge to resolve his lemon law cases in California with out-of-the-box solutions that lead to winning results.
Following law school, Mr. Shainfeld spent the next few years gaining practical legal experience by working in a California civil litigation firm. During this time, he provided legal representation to both plaintiffs and corporate defendants. Mr. Shainfeld represented multi-million-dollar companies, including The Irvine Company, LA Fitness, Carl’s Jr. and Zurich Insurance Company. This civil litigation experience enabled Mr. Shainfeld to gain insight into how the big companies analyze cases, which now provides his lemon law clients with a unique advantage when he has to now negotiate with these large corporations.

In addition to his experience, Mr. Shainfeld is accredited by the California State Bar and all of the U.S. District Courts of California. Mr. Shainfeld is an active and supportive member of the Los Angeles community, including being on the board of a non-profit organization that provides food and clothing to those in need.
